Common questions
Do you handle the whole job or just parts of it?
We take the room from demolition through finish. For the parts that need a licensed trade, we coordinate that as part of the job so you are not chasing separate people.
What usually turns up once you open a wall?
Water damage behind tile and rot in the framing under a tub are the two most common. We photograph whatever we find, show you, and quote the repair before continuing.
Can I use my bathroom while you work?
Not the one being renovated. If it is your only bathroom, tell us early and we will plan the sequence around it.
How much of the mess ends up in the rest of my house?
We seal off the work area and clean at the end of each day. Renovation is dusty by nature, but your house should stay livable while it happens.
Do you do ceilings on their own?
Yes. Old plaster and lath ceilings that are cracking or sagging are a job on their own, and one we do often in older Berkshire homes.
Can you work from my own design?
Yes. Bring drawings, a contractor's plan or even a folder of photos and we will quote against it.
